About Akanksha Educational Foundation
Akanksha Educational Foundation is an organization started by a mother inspired by special girls Akansha and Samiksha. An organization run by Akanksha Educational Foundation is working for special children considering the increasing number of disabled people in the society and their difficulties, it is very important to inspire them to live and to increase the hope of their parents.
It is very important for parents and society to accept these special children by raising public awareness that their children can live in society like others, they are also a part of this society.
The abuse of these special children in the society, the psychological distress caused to the parents, the attitude of the society towards these children should be stopped somewhere. Akanska Education foundation is motivated by feeling and awareness that other parents should not have to face different experiences and hardships like us.
If the spirit of live and let them live is kept, surely these special multi-disabled children will not face any problem while living in the flow of the society. Mental Retardation, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and Autism in the society should be given opportunities to develop their latent qualities and bring them into the flow of social life by looking at their strengths rather than looking at their disabilities.
Objectives of the Organization
To bring the special multi-disabled children from all levels of the society into the mainstream of the society, to provide them with self-reliance and daily skills education to create their holistic development and to rehabilitate and nurture the special children.
Procedure of Organization
Run by Akanksha Education Foundation, Akanksha Special Child School is an organization that works with special multi-disabled children of the society. The needs and difficulties of special children are different, so special schools are needed for such children. Education is provided to the children from the schools run through this voluntary organization. And children are nurtured and rehabilitated. In order to change the attitude of society and parents towards special children, the important goal is to create awareness among parents through various activities such as guidance, lectures and camps.
Through Akanksha Educational Foundation organization Special children are given education. Physical and intellectual growth of children Holistic development of children through special education in consideration is made Special children who cannot meet their daily needs. All
such types of children are given admission in the Akanksha Special Child School. Along with daily skills, children are taught academic, social and professional skills. For children with severe disabilities, There is a care group in which children are given special training. Children’s are developed by giving education through direct and indirect things.

2. Special children should always be kept busy so that they do not increase the problem.
3. Appreciate the small and big progress of children and boost their morale.

Activities to be implemented in the Institute
• Physical and mental development is developed through special child psychiatrists, therapists.
• Parents of children are also involved in the institution for celebration of different festivals like Dahi Handi, Rakshabandhan, Diwali, 15th August etc.
• By teaching everything in demonstration form, visited various tourist places, gardens, zoos, markets to understand the concepts in very simple words.
• Expert guidance camps are organized from time to time to boost the morale of the parents by removing the depression in the mind.
• Physical and intellectual development of children is done through various games.
• Giving scope to children talent by organizing different cultural programs
• Vocational training is given to special children especially children above 18 years to make them self-reliant. Example: Sky laterns, paper bag making, Panati painting etc.
